Overview

Wild Bounty Showdown is PG Soft’s Wild West slot from August 2022, and it is built for mobile in a way most releases only claim to be. The grid is the first thing you notice. Six reels sit in a diamond shape, widening from three symbols on the outside to five in the middle, which produces 3,600 ways to win. The numbers behind it are a 96.75% RTP and a top win of 5,000x your stake, and the studio pairs that with cascades, a doubling multiplier and gold framed wilds. It sits at the higher end of the volatility scale, so the shape of a session tends to be quiet stretches broken by the occasional strong round.

The diamond grid and why it produces 3,600 ways

Reels one to three expand from three symbols to five as they move inward, and reels four to six shrink back the same way, giving a 3-4-5-5-4-3 layout. Multiply those together and you get the 3,600 figure exactly. Wins need at least three matching symbols starting from the leftmost reel, so the wide middle reels are where most combinations are made or lost. The layout is fixed on every spin, though it is shaped rather than rectangular, and the grid graphic on this page approximates it by drawing the taller rows across every column.

The paytable

The Outlaw is the top symbol at 2.5x your stake for a full six of a kind, followed by the Gun at 1.5x, then the Hat and the Whiskey Bottle at 1x each. Cascades, the multiplier and the gold frames

Winning symbols disappear and new ones drop in, and every cascade doubles the current multiplier. The listed ceiling is x1,024, though reaching it needs a chain of wins long enough that you should treat it as a theoretical number rather than a target. Gold framed positions appear on reels three and four, and any symbol that lands inside one and takes part in a win turns into a wild on the following spin. That’s the mechanic that keeps chains alive, because a wild left behind on a middle reel makes the next cascade far more likely.

Three scatters trigger ten free spins, and each scatter beyond the third adds two more. The round plays like the base game with one change: every spin opens at an x8 multiplier instead of x1, and the cascade doubling builds from there. That’s where nearly all of the game’s big results come from. More scatters during the round award more spins. The odds

The published hit rate is 29.04%, so a little under a third of spins return something, and most of those returns are small given the paytable above. The 5,000x maximum is quoted at around one in a billion spins, which puts it well outside anything you could reasonably plan a session around. The more useful number is the x8 opening multiplier in the bonus, because that’s the part of the game that genuinely changes what a round can be worth.
